List of A-series processors of all iPhones

The article has collected a complete list of chips that are equipped with all iPhone models since 2007.

At Apple presentations, the focus is on what the iPhone can do, not its specifications. At the same time, the company always mentions its own A-series chips (SoC systems, systems on a chip), which are characterized by maximum performance and effective interaction with iOS.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max in 2019, when the 4GB RAM flagship outperformed the 12GB RAM Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ in a speed test, is an example of the outstanding success of hardware/software engineering. The tight integration of the iPhone hardware and the iOS operating system saved more than 8 GB. The same applies to iPads and Macs when it comes to comparing them to Android tablets and PCs.

At the same time, the company did not always use its own chips in the iPhone – there were iPhones with third-party processors in the history of Apple (see the list below).
